Baltimore Loth, better known as Balti, is a Montreal-based artist with a bold and adventurous approach to life. From his distinct skateboarding and snowboarding styles to his intricate sketchbook art, ambitious projects, and inventive creations using scraps from Squamish junkyards, Balti lives life to the fullest.
Our admiration for Balti grew significantly in 2010 when we saw him and his friends hauling a massive handrail through the streets of Montreal. They transformed a section of Mont Royal into "Gnarland"—a secret rail garden for winter shredding. Watching them dismantle city fixtures to build this epic spot was a testament to their passion and creativity, leaving behind countless good memories.
Balti’s artistic talent and genuine character made it an easy decision to collaborate with him. As a close friend and an incredibly gifted artist, working with him has been a privilege. Witnessing his creative process firsthand throughout this project has been inspiring.
We’re thrilled to unveil the final result: a small capsule collection that pays homage to our shared roots and celebrates snowboarding’s golden era when art defined board graphics. We can’t wait to share this unique collaboration with our good friend, Baltimore Loth.
